Yeah the guitar at the end was great. I feel like you should bring more of that into all of your productions, holy hell was that awesome. Make that the focal point in a future track, could listen to a whole album of that stuff.

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

Yeah, I don't tend to bring in too much raw guitar like that. I always think about adding stuff like that but then I never do. The track "I Blueshift" has some similar noodlin' in there. Thanks for listening.

I have not heard enough ambient funk on here, on a reviewing mission at the moment and this may be the first track I've heard with this style, what a groove you have going.

Harmor is such a great plugin only really started messing about with it for resampling bass sounds recently. Some great Future Music Magazine videos on youtube of Savant showing you Harmor at Its best. If you can't find the link PM me man and I'll find it for you. Learnt so much from that one video.

ApprenticeBlacksmith responds:

Agreed. My fav plugin definetly :) It has so wide range of possiblities specially when making dubsteppish tracks or bass heavy sounds. Also if you have not yet testet add vocals into the image tab and make bass sounds etc from actual vocals, I recommend you to try it out.

And yeah I've lerned alot and figured out how to get rid of "crackling" when using low freq sounds in harmor.

Very lush pad sounds in this, feels like they're breathing in and out and that's exactly what you want for this kind of sound. Piano helps everything along in a really subtle but informed way. Good piece of work.

Grandvision responds:

Thank you. I am surprised people actually look over my older music, but it brings a smile to my face, that there are listeners out there somewhere that enjoy the journeys I take with music.

Writing film scores can suck man, do it every now and again myself, I'll spend hours producing something electronically only to hear 'I want it to sound live.' Some people are hard to please... Glad I got to hear this, hope It gets some use in film because in my opinion it'd fit well.

Don't hear enough flangy/ phasey sounds these days, props to you for embracing those effects and creating a tense yet purposeful song. Top effort.

Musical inspiration from the spa, you're living the high life my friend. Ignore that swaenK bloke a couple of reviews down, this was great for what it was, I wouldn't have changed anything. Creates a mellow but purposeful atmosphere.

Well damn this piano was crazy, crazy and happy maybe that's mental... or insane? Insanely good? There's a review in here somewhere.

Big big atmosphere here man, really think pieces like this are great for the newgrounds community can well see some of the animators and game creators here getting use out of it. 100% worth the listen, keep creative mate it suits you.

Don't know what to call this? How about f**king ace! Really reminds me of one of the tension build pieces used in 'Shadow Hearts' I'm currently going mad with reverb in my own stuff, wet? More like soaked. Hope you keep at this man, interesting piece.

I produce music under 'Alias Here' formerly 'Pomp Yin', make videos and work on video games.
