Lots of inspiration taken from trap for this I see, keep working at it, you'll only improve with each project.

Ohhhhh sh*********t, this was very cool. Very nice synth sounds, nice groove going with the drums. Good effort with this, you'll only get better if you keep producing content as detailed as this, keep at it.

Hurks responds:

thanks man! yeah, I made this a little over a year ago, lots of change in mixing and composure but sadly I haven't really had anything to show as of late :(.

Very video gamey, lots of cool elements in here. Nice atmospherics, the arp's very 80's. Some people would say the chimes are a little cheesy but I'm a sucker for going mental with them as well, I like them personally, think you've created your own vibe with this and isn't that what music production is all about?

New gear is good for inspiration but nothing beats mastering the tools you already have. Keep creative and keep on entertaining mate!

It's like you've turned the time dial down and everything is getting stretched and played out in slow motion. Similar visuals to the end of the latest Dredd film. Think they used Paul Stretch for their piece, you should look into getting it, think audacity has an option to Paul Stretch these days, free to download to.

sapoman responds:

Cool, I'll check it out.

The kick in this is top, feels really weird to be complimenting a kick but I still struggle to get mine sounding how I want them so good effort there man. Keep making more!

ADR3-N responds:

It's actually an old techno kick sample I had and an oscillator running around 12-30 Hz that I programmed. Happy you enjoyed! :)

Roles along in a very direct way, could fit into a high tension scene in a movie or video game, the hats coming in at 1:50ish really work well for it. Good effort, keep on creating.

i had a goal with this track but now i don't think i like it

Reminds me something out of Maple Story, such a great game growing up as a kid. You should work on a couple more video gamey tracks, see if one of the programmers on here needs a composer.

spikel responds:

Id love to make music for video games :) . Maple Story was really cool as a kid, hey you grew up as a kid too? me tooooooo

The glitch beat is pretty slick man, could do with being a little louder in the mix but that's just a preference thing.

spikel responds:

yea i agree, i mean it worked alright im happy with it but coulda been fuller, kinda safe on the mixing

Reminds me of something out of one of the Shadow Hearts games. Think It's the way the piano's helping everything chug along in a playful way. I enjoyed this, thanks for making it.

ADR3-N responds:

Might be it. It's been a while since I played those. Thanks for the kind review. :)

Sounds like something out of a JRPG, getting similar vibes to the whole bombing mission at the start of FF7.

I produce music under 'Alias Here' formerly 'Pomp Yin', make videos and work on video games.
